02 Why this site · What was built

The challenge & the custom build

GIBS is a Chittagong institute offering diploma to postgraduate courses with British awarding bodies such as Pearson Edexcel and AIA. Its old website dated from 2013, and its online learning ran separately from the site.

Problems to solve

A dated legacy site
Content from 2013 sat in an old CMS. It was hard to update and didn't reflect an internationally affiliated institute.

Programmes not visible
Diplomas, top-up degrees, postgraduate and language courses had no strong visual showcase.

Separate e-learning
Online degrees and certificate programmes had no clear entry point from the main website.
04
Forgotten history
Years of events (ICPSD 2014, the Chittagong University visit 2017, a Pearson visit, graduations) had nowhere to live online.
